about Us
We are a Family Run Business!
At IRTH some of us are related by blood or marriage, but we are ALL "family by choice." We love working together and we think that shows in the finished product as well as in the experience of building with us.
We consider our customers an extension of the Indigo River "family" and from the design process through to the final build, we focus on the "relationship first" - listening intently & communicating clearly every step of the way - so the project goes as smoothly as possible.
Veteran Owned TINY HOUSE COMPANY IN DALLAS
We are owned & operated by Veterans!
Indigo River Tiny Homes is owned by Peter Huggler (an army veteran) and his wife Christina Wester.
We also currently employ or have employed air force, navy and marine veterans.
Supporting Veterans is an important part of our company's foundation and philosophy.
We donate a portion of the profits from every tiny house we sell to organizations that support Veterans.
Our Military Service Men & Women do some of the hardest jobs in the world, and they deserve our respect and support when they come home. We have carefully selected two worthy organizations who follow that creed, and we are enthusiastic about helping them to accomplish their missions.

Frequently asked questions
Are your tiny houses RVIA cerified?
How much do your tiny houses cost?
Click on the link below to design your own and get an estimate:
Do you offer financing?
Yes, We currently offer 2 approved financing option. You can get more information and apply online by clicking on our financing tab.
Can you do Custom designed tiny houses?
YES! Contact US to let us know what you have in mind. We will be glad to discuss your project with you!
What size houses do you offer?
We currently offer 4 standard size houses, 8'6" x 20', 24', 28', and 32', with several floor plans to choose from. Custom sizes are also available.
What kind of vehicle do I need to tow my tiny house?
We recommend that you first check the towing capacity of your vehicle to see how much weight it can handle. With that in mind a standard pickup like an F150 or C1500 might be able to pull a 16' trailer but it would have a hard time pulling a 20' trailer, even if it says it can handle the towing capacity. Don't forget, these things have a lot of surface area and therefore wind resistance. We highly recommend you use a diesel 3/4 ton truck (F250, C2500, or the equivalent) to pull our 20' & 24' houses. You'll probably want to upgrade to a 1 ton truck (F350, C3500, or equivalent) for the 28' & 32' models.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Delivery within 50 miles of our location is inluded. We will deliver anywhere beyond the DFW metroplex for a fee of $3/ mile beyond the 50 mile radius. Utility hook-up service is not provided. If you need utilities run to your location, we can help you find a contractor to get the job done.
Can you go off-grid in an Indigo River Tiny Home?
Our standard models are designed to be 100% grid-tied. They come standard with 50-Amp RV power connection, city water connection, and RV sewer line connection. Off-grid options such as water holding tanks and solar power are available for an additional price.
Where can I see an Indigo River Tiny Home?
Where can I park my tiny house?
New places open up every month as cities become more tiny-house -friendly. Generally you can park a tiny house anywhere you can park an RV. Also, you can usually park them on private property outside of cities, but check in your specific area. You may find helpful discussions in tiny house Facebook groups.
