Tiny Home University: MARCH Building Workshop #1

Gain hands-on experience and receive professional instruction for each step* of building a Tiny Home on Wheels!

Tuition for Drop-Ins:

$125 for a one day class

(8 hours of instruction & experience)

$225 for an entire weekend workshop

(16 hours of instruction & experience)

$395 for 2 weekend workshops

(32 hours of instruction & experience)

*Syllabus for the topics covered during each class will be added to the calendar schedule for each weekend as the build schedule develops. Skills & Steps will be covered as our available builds allow. You will receive a check-list of skills and steps that you can check off as you attend.

8 months of Weekend Building Workshops**

Workshops are held 2 weekends a month = 16 weekends

8 hours per day on Saturday & Sunday = 256 hours of instruction & building experience covering each step of the building process.

**If you miss a workshop you may make up the topics missed when they are covered during the subsequent Tiny House University Build. See below for all the workshop dates in the current course series.

8 Zoom Classes on topics for Tiny Home Builders & Entrepreneurs

1 Zoom Class per month Jan through August lasting 1.5 hours each = 16 more hours of instruction and Q&A time with the professionals!

• Designing your Tiny Home, Ordering the best Tiny House Trailer & Prepping for your Build
• Finding Places to Park Tiny Homes
• Tiny Vacation Rentals
• Taxes, Insurance, Budgets & Financing Your Build
• Developing Private Land or going Off-Grid
• Legalities involved in starting & running a Tiny Home Business & Becoming a Certified Builder
• Real Estate Development of Tiny Home Communities
• Budgeting & Financials for Builders & Investors
• Common Pit Falls, Concerns & Pro-Tips specific to THOW Builds & the Tiny Home Industry

The entire course also includes a set of THOW Plans.

*The above dates are confirmed but due to many factors, we might need to take a break during the summer and resume classes in the fall instead of going straight through to August.

So the dates below are tentative until we have more information on the projects available for class to work & learn on as well as other factors affecting scheduling.

If we do end up taking any breaks, we will just push back the dates and finish up with the same number of build days in the fall.  We plan to announce any necessary schedule adjustments in April.
