Teachers will rotate the students so everyone gets practice leading or following with a variety of partners.

Shane & Emily are an indie/folk husband and wife duo who draw inspiration from the incredible adventures we experience all across North America in our converted school bus/home. Our unique journey inspires the ambient folk sound that captures the serenity of the Western vistas, the rhythms of the Eastern coastlines, and the brilliance of the national forests. We express our passion for life through music and invite you to travel with us by listening to the intricate instrumentation, layered harmonies and lyrics that tell our stories.
đ¶ Beginner Dance Lessons đ” Jerry & Kat
Dance teachers with years of experience in Blues, Lindy Hop and East Coast Swing. They have taught to rave reviews across the U.S. as featured instructors because of their entertaining style and strong emphasis on technique and fundamental.
After a class with Jerry and Kathy you will realize that you not only had a great time but you walked away with principles you can use on the dance floor.
As a DJ, Jerry is in high demand around the country for his unique Swing and blues styles. When not on the road, Jerry DJâs weddings and local events in the Dallas area.
Kat is also a well rounded professional artist, currently working in the discipline of sculpture as well as teaching stone carving and managing the stone sculpture department at the Creative Arts Center of Dallas. She has been creating commissioned works of art for over 25 years. Kat grew up in nearby Garland, Texas and received her BFA in Denton, Texas. She will have a booth at the Gather & Create Festival featuring her works available for purchase.
